With the incredible saturation of restaurants in the area, Pasadena native Andre Vener and his group of local partners opened this venue as "a jazz club." The talented crew he brought together, however, matched renowned live performers with the area's best food and wine experience.

Tucked behind our historic building like a classy Chicago speakeasy, the Jazz Club is a separate, larger wing of redwhite+bluezz - open for dinner and live performances Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.  Grammy-award winners have made the pilgrimage here to sign the wall after standing in with local legends including Byron Miller, Greg Poree and Jacques Lesure.

THURSDAYS have recently become the most upbeat evening, opening at 7pm for dinner reservations and an 8pm first set.  The JAM SESSION plays through a 10pm to Midnight happy hour, where casual enthusiasts can sneak in and feel the vibe after diners give up their seats.

FRIDAY and SATURDAY nights each feature TWO dinner-theatre style shows, with dinner seatings at 6pm and 6:30 for a 7pm, 90 minute set, followed by 8:30-9:30 seatings for the late performance at 9:30pm.  DUE TO DEMAND, RESERVATIONS FOR THE FIRST SET ARE ADVISED OF A 2-1/2 HOUR TIME BUDGET for enjoying a great dinner and the 7pm show...LATE TABLES OR VACANT PORTIONS OF LARGE PARTIES ARE GIVEN AWAY TO THE WAITING LIST 15 MINUTES AFTER RESERVATION TIMES.

SUNDAY BRUNCH features its own gourmet menu complementing three music sets between 10:30am and 1:30pm.  Seatings are between 10pm and 2pm, and there is no buffet or set price as guests are free to order unique entrees and signature cocktails from the menu.  Of course, this has been named "#1 Brunch in Pasadena" by multiple reviews.

SUNDAY thru WEDNESDAY NIGHTS this famous venue sits dormant and ready to host private business dinners, successful fundraisers, and other larger special parties for 20 to 150 guests.  On these evenings regular performances play in the front "GRILL" from 6-9pm, and AS ALWAYS THE GRILL IS OPEN FROM 5-10pm FOR DINNER.

Russ Meek and his wife Marie, our Certified Sommeliers, have assembled an exciting, diverse, high quality wine list to compliment our Contemporary American Cuisine. In its first year the list was rated #1 by local polls among over 2000 restaurants and wine bars, likely for its exceptional value as well as excellent worldwide selection.

Russ has educated our staff to exceptional levels in both service and product knowledge, and has been conducting the most intense, yet user-friendly tastings for enthusiast groups, as the feature for fundraisers, and every third Wednesday to the public by reservation.

These courses are excellent for social or corporate events, delivering substantial means for enjoying fine food, wine and spirits. For the more casual wine-lovers, a series of tasting "flights" are available on our menus, each designed to contrast different styles of similar grape varietals.

Wednesdays back in the Jazz Club have become a regular night for showing off redwhite+bluezz' talents with food, wine and music.
Every FIRST Wednesday has been reserved as "NON-PROFIT NITE," when the area's biggest foundations for the less fortunate are hosted for remarkably sussessful fundraising parties.
Every SECOND Wednesday, Chef Bryan unleashes startling flavor and presentation with "DINNER DATE WITH CHEF BRYAN."  Regional themes have inspired some truely unreal culinary feats from this talented 24-year-old heart and soul of redwhite+bluezz, and SEATS HAVE BEGUN TO BOOK UP WEEKS IN ADVANCE.  Seats go for $50, which includes 4 courses, recipe hand-outs, and two hours with the Chef for fun Q/A sessions.
Every THIRD Wednesday is Sommelier Russ Meek's "Flight School" wine and gourment food pairing class.  Guests have emerged "getting wine for the first time," and exceptionally confident in the basics of sophisticated dining.  $50 seats include 8-9 PREMIUM regionally focused wine examples to taste, paired with two courses of heavy appetizers and imported cheeses.
The LAST Wednesday of every month, Andre Vener assembles our most highly acclaimed musicians for one-time performances in the intimate lower level Jazz Club setting.  Seats are $35, and dinner can be ordered at the table before the 730pm performance or timed for the 830pm intermission.
